SSRI Discontinuation Syndrome

At your doctor’s suggestion you start tapering off the SSRI antidepressant you’ve been taking for the last few months. Within a couple of days, you begin to exhibit severe flu like symptoms - headache, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, chills, dizziness and fatigue. What on earth is going on? It's called SSRI discontinuation syndrome, and it can really be the pits.
