I was on gabitril. I was on it for about 6 months. I started losing ideas, I couldn’t think. Then my speech started to diminish, I could not think of words. Finally, I could only say a few words, not even my name. A policeman took me to the hospital because I was acting strange. In those weeks, I thought that I was either with Alzheimers or had had a stroke. It was very scary.

I went into the hospital, told them that I thought it might be the gabatril, they took me off of it and the next day I was fine.

I would not go on that drugs, for symptoms of anxiety, anyway.
