BP Magazine: Spring 2006 Issue

Thursday April 27, 2006
From Lizzie Simon's description of her encounter with a woman who sounds like a Scientologist, to Demitri Papolos' article about bipolar children with aggressive obsessions, the Spring 2006 issue of BP Magazine is packed with the useful information and compassionate insights we've come to expect from this excellent publication.

There are in-depth features and BP and sleep and the link between bipolar disorder and creativity, as well as an interesting history of the illness and smart advice about sugar and sweeteners. The "My Story" feature profiles former Canadian MP Svend Robinson, who "came out of the closet" twice - in 1988 when he publicly announced he is gay, and again in 2005 when he made his diagnosis with BP public.

Also included are a fine article on making the most out of brief visits to your doctor, another on dealing with anger, and a number of briefs on current research and other topics.
