International Bipolar Disorder Survey

Monday September 10, 2007
Our good friend John McManamy is now acting as a special adviser to the recently-established international non-profit organization, Equilibrium – The Bipolar Foundation. John, who is the author of Living Well With Bipolar Disorder, writes:
If you have bipolar disorder, I would like to ask you to take part in the online International Bipolar Disorder Survey. The Survey is the effort of Equilibrium, in partnership with other organizations worldwide.

We anticipate that it will be the largest survey of its type and prove important in developing greater insights into our illness. The survey has been designed by people with bipolar disorder working with top professionals in the field.

Taking part in this completely confidential survey takes around 20 minutes. The survey is completed online and returned by a single click – no posting, printing, or emailing. To access it simply go to: http://www.survey.bipolar-foundation.org/mcman.

It's apparent that every precaution has been taken to insure your complete privacy when taking this survey. They don't ask for your name or email address and make a point of saying the survey doesn't even use cookies. The introduction to the survey also notes, "We think you will find the questionnaire straightforward but in the event you find anything distressing you can discontinue the survey at any time."

I've taken the survey and hope as many of our visitors and community as possible will do so as well. Thanks!

~Marcia
