Friday afternoon Mary, one of our forum members, posted a message that clearly showed she was in trouble. Part of this post reads:
last night after dark I'm behind the trucks on the east side of yard havng a smoke, and I begin to hear the I S spirits doing their chanting/singing crap in the woods over there. Also the coyote howling type screams, that always sounds like they have a microphone-by the way if I did't mention it & I believe I did, the other night the coyotes or tiny ponies or SOME thing were a cross the street in the neighbor's front yard horse corral, running around-& got my cat's attention too so don't say I'm nuts. Anyway, after the I S spirits screeching, it sounds like they're blowing big fat reed instruments in the same spot in th ewoods. Like they're blowing air thru something, but it's just coming out as air, not music.
By evening the thread had grown to 26 posts, and after reading the many calm, supportive responses, Mary called her psychiatrist who raised the dosage on her antipsychotic medication. The next day, feeling much better, she thanked everyone.

Throughout the thread there is a feeling of caring and understanding. If you haven't visited our forum, take a few minutes now to see how our members rally to support someone in trouble.

Forum members: I'm proud of you!!

Crisis has been managed immediately, efficiently & effectively. Thanks to the form. In developing world such patient would possibly taken to so called spritial guru or tantric on the assumtion that the patient is under the influence of evil sprits.I do not know when people in the d.World can throw away the shakles of ignorance & that would probablly reduce the high suicide rate among our women fock, students and farmars.Probally help in time is not availablbe. May be organisations doctors with out boders & others would consider to help and train the locals to sustain the programme indigeniously later. Creation of sites lile About.Com in local languages. The scheme of free laptop to needy and poor children would also help but must not take many yrs. to launch, may by some new device may have renderd the laptop out of date.l
