Medications for the treatment of bipolar disorder can be prohibitively expensive. However, there are programs offering medications free of charge or at reduced prices. Some are from drug companies; others are from third-party volunteers. Found here are resources and information to help you get the medications you need.

Tresca, About.com’s Guide to Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), offers another great suggestion to Use Prescription Coupons to Save Money. “Do you ever have to pay out of pocket for your prescription drugs that aren't covered by insurance? Or perhaps your copay has gotten out of control? Are you a coupon clipper? Then there is good news for you. Some pharmaceutical companies are now offering coupons or free trial periods on their most popular patented drugs as part of their direct-to-consumer marketing strategies.”
