- Strangers can sometimes tell I look depressed (except when I decide to wear a hospital gown to church).
- I have less than zero tolerance for frustration. I have broken computer equipment, electronic equipment, and telephones as a result of frustration.
- I hate people altogether when I'm not in a people-seeking mood.
- I love to observe people and am especially interested in their reactions. I sometimes annoy people when asking for detailed info about someone. Spying runs in my family.
- I am addicted to crisis. If I'm not in the middle of some conflict or crisis, I'll go out and create one.
- Most of the time I am not very confident, but I do have periods where I exaggerate my importance to the universe; after all, I did create it.
- I get bored very easily and am known for deliberately pissing a person off just because he or she bores me.
- Men and lesbians fall in love with me quickly. I have some kind of magnetic force field. I'm a lovable dabbler.
- I don't have a problem getting boyfriends, but I sure as hell can't keep them.
- I'm very intuitive. Sometimes I think I'm psychic (I'll think about a person and then she calls). I'm good at predicting a person's next move. It's fun isn't it?
- I'm sweet and shy most of the time. When I'm angry or passionate about something I frighten people. I will eat rattlesnakes to prove a point to someone. I frequently argue with stop signs.
- I'm predictably unpredictable to most people.
Here are some physical symptoms:
- Urinary frequency and urinary problems when anxious. Prior to my diagnosis I was always going to the doctor for a suspected urinary infection. One day he finally said, "We can't find anything physically wrong with you. Ummm, you may have some other problem going on."
- I gag very easily. I am a very picky eater.
- I LOVE salt and I am prone to having low sodium levels.
- My weight fluctuates. I lose weight while hyper and generally gain weight when I'm depressed. I have been on the thin side recently. I also have a history of bulimia. My eating disorder symptoms started during the spring, which is my manic season.
- Frequent headaches and body aches.
- Memory problems.
- Menstrual problems.
- I get cold very easily. I am extremely sensitive to temperatures.
- I'm prone to low red blood cell counts.
- I'm very sensitive to smells.
- I blush a lot.
