I dedicate this poem to everyone on this forum for always coming together when we need each other the most. I love you all - Rose

I do not know what you look like
  having never seen your face
I do not know the sound of your voice
  having never heard your laugh
I do not know the glow of your smile
  having never seen you beam
I do not know the pain of your cry
  having never heard you weep

Yet you have touched my life as no one has

You have lent me your strength and courage
  when I was weak and afraid
You have reminded me I am strong and brave
  when I have forgotten that was in me
You have given me unconditional love
  when others have asked for something in return
You have taught me many valuable lessons
  when I really needed to learn
You have guided me back toward light and hope
  when I was feeling dark and hopeless
You have accepted me for who I am, and as I am
  when I have not been able to do so
You have challenged me to go on and to fight
  when I was tired and thought I could fight no more
You have nourished my heart, mind, and spirit
  when my resources were dangerously low
