If You Wanted...

by Peter Poulin

If you wanted to see,
I could open your eyes.
If you wanted to grow old & be wise
they'll measure you for size.

If you wanted to glow,
I could show you the way.
If you wanted to wait another day
they'll carry you away.

You must've BLOWN your disguise!
You mustn't blow your disguise.

If you wanted to pray,
I could show you a sign.

If you wanted to change water to wine
They'll hold you in confines.

If you wanted to learn,
I could show you the tools.
If you wanted to re-define the rules
They'll send you back to school.

You must've blown your disguise.
You mustn't blow your disguise!

fight, flight, fight, flight, fly...

"...Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Picked Peppers, & he couldn't sit down for 2 Weeks."
