Invisible

by Starchild-64

I sit again in this sad unholy place
Strangers surround me
But I am invisible
Staring eyes and thoughtless thoughts
Small groups form out of loneliness and the lack of human contact
As for me, I'm invisible
Gaze out the window at the cold dark evening and yearn for home
We have no lives
We are simply alive
So if you should glimpse my way and notice a shadow
Look away
I shall stay invisible
