Within

by Starchild-64

http://z.about.com/d/bipolar/1/0/L/2/within.jpg The night falls
Loneliness settles in like a heavy fog
I think of times past,
When the ones I loved were here
I sigh an empty sigh
Dream of days gone by, never to return
Oh that any one person could feel so alone
So helpless
So hopeless
Look to the future
Only blank pages in the yellowed parchment of my mind
The past is gone
The future crouches like a predator
Though I fight tomorrow, it will come
Sure as the morning sun will rise
Let go the cobwebs that lurk in my lonely heart
Tomorrow may be the day that my soul is finally released
And peace shall reign within...
