Depression

by Jenny Westberg

Dense black clouds are gathering
Inside my mind, darkening my vision.
All the colors have gone gray.
I put on my black dress,
In mourning for myself; I am gone
And forgotten, an old rag
Kicked into a corner
With the vermin.
