Anhidrosis

Definition:
Anhidrosis means the absence of or severe reduction in perspiring. Bipolar medications that can cause anhidrosis include:

• Many Antipsychotics
• Tricyclic Antidepressants
• Topamax (Topiramate) - mood stabilizer
• Cogentin (Benztropine) - used to treat Parkinsonian side effects of antipsychotic medications
