Definition:
Stereotypy refers to behaviors that appear when a patient is in a catatonic state:
  1. Repeating the same meaningless gestures or movements over and over.
  2. Holding one position for a long period of time.
Pronunciation: STAIR-ee-oh-TIE-pee
