My name is Dan. I am 17 years old and live in Pennsylvania. I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) at the age of 10. At the age 13, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder (manic depression). I am currently a junior in a mainstream private high school. I intend to study pharmacy when I go into college. In my spare time, I enjoy going to Baltimore and boating as well as going out with my friends.
Prior to joining the About Bipolar Disorder chat rooms, I was the teen advisor/volunteer for the Child and Adolescent Bipolar Foundation for a little over a year. While at CABF, I spearheaded teen support service improvement and assisted in moderating weekly teen chats.
