Definition:
Seroquel - generic Quetiapine is classed as an atypical antipsychotic medication. Uses include treatment of schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder and acute bipolar mania, with or without psychotic features.

Seroquel carries a black box warning stating it is not approved for use in elderly patients with dementia-related psychosis due to an increased risk of death.
