I've written a great deal about difficult times in my battle with bipolar disorder, so I thought readers might find it interesting to know what I consider a good day. In a nutshell, good days are days when I accomplish a lot. This is my to-do / done list for Saturday, August 26th, 2006. It started out with items 1-27 and the rest were added as they happened. What's interesting about this long list is that I didn't feel in the least hypomanic. It's wonderful to me that I was able to accomplish so much on a day when I just felt "normal" - that is, what I imagine is normal for people who are not bipolar. (I haven't had much "normal" in my life!) Of course, the big question now is, can I do it again? And again?
