I, the mother, have bipolar disorder. I have BPI.
How I Made My Decision, And What I Decided
I have a child from a previous marriage. However, my current husband doesn't have any children, so this is why I want to have a child with him. I am kind of scared and torn about being off my meds while being pregnant. My doctor says I need to be off for at least the first three months, but I am afraid I will have an episode during this time. So I am still undecided.
What I'd Do Differently
- I dont know if I made the right decision yet cause we haven't tried to have a baby yet - but we will be trying very soon
