Jane Pauley reveals she has bipolar disorder

News media including USA Today and Associated Press (as picked by CNN) reported today that Jane Pauley, in her autobiography Skywriting, revealed for the first time that she has bipolar disorder. In an excerpt in People magazine (issue on newsstands August 20th), Pauley says her bipolar condition was triggered by "a rare reaction to prescription drugs: steroids being taken for a stubborn case of hives." She is now stabilized on lithium.
