PTSD, Rage and Hypomania

There have been profound changes in my life since Mom was first hospitalized and then sent permanently to a nursing home. My diet has completely changed and is healthier. I don't read in bed and snack before sleeping anymore. I get enough sleep most of the time. The house was neat and organized until recently, when three weeks of computer problems and the need for new equipment caused chaos. However, both my psychiatrist and the hospice social worker say that after caring for my mother for six months as she descended into Alzheimer's, I may have post-traumatic stress disorder -- PTSD. I read this article on PSTD, Rage & Hypomaina.Seems that both PSTD and Bipolar have triggers.Dealing with her mom during her illness was a huge stressor, and might be a trigger for the bipolar and not the PSTD
