I Must Strive

I must strive to focus on what I can do
Not on what I can't
I must strive to focus on my successes
Not on my failures
I must strive to focus on today
Not on tomorrow or the past
For that will help me last

I must strive to focus on the loves I have
Not on the loves I've lost
I must strive to focus on my many abilities
Not on my few limitations
I must strive to focus on the fair beauty and
Not on the dark beast, which both reside inside me
For that will help me last

I must strive to focus on hope to make my dreams come true.
This I pledge I'll strive to do.
