Bipolar disorder is so nasty that it takes you in so many ways that you can't really even decide what it is. There is a beautiful mountain that I can see from my living room and to me if I feel manic, my thoughts are I can climb that mountain, and then depression hits and the ugly, heavy reality and I can't even get out of the chair. I can barely lift my arms.

Bipolar disorder takes away a natural happpy zest for life and all that is so beautiful around me. It makes me hate my mind, want to scream sometimes and mostly just want to run away as I feel my family is hurt by my irrational mood episodes.

Bipolar robs you of you. Purely.

The other fun illnesses that I have to add to this:

  • Lupus
  • Sjogren's syndrome
  • Agoraphobia
  • Panic/general social anxiety
  • Deep depression - could just be bipolar, been diagnosed both ways
  • Migraines
  • Hormone imbalance
  • Rheumatoid Factor - small RA symptoms
  • Celiac disease
  • IBS
Now that looks bad but some symptoms cross over to others so it's not that bad. THE BIPOLAR IS THE MONSTER. To have a healthy mind would be the most precious wealth of all. I would take it.
